ZAGG grabs Gear4 for US$40m

NASDAQ-quoted accessories company ZAGG has acquired Gear4 from STRAX for US$40m – the equivalent of Gear4’s projected 2018 sales. Tech Data signs gaming brand Roccat in UK

Tech Data UK has announced that it is now stocking the entire range of Roccat gaming gear, including the company’s latest Vulcan and Horde keyboards and the Khan headphones, after signing a distribution agreement with the German accessories specialist. ASBIS signs Pure Storage distribution deal

Distributor ASBIS has struck a channel agreement with all-flash storage systems supplier Pure Storage. ASBIS will distribute Pure Storage products in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Moldova. ELKO Ukraine strikes Huawei tablet deal

ELKO Ukraine has struck a channel agreement with Huawei to become the sole importer of Huawei tablets and their accessories on the Ukrainian market. The products to be supplied include the latest tablets by the manufacturer: M5 lite, T5 10 and T3 10. Currently, Huawei is market leader in sales of tablets in the Ukrainian market, according to IDC. Exertis rejigs organisation

Exertis, a distributor of technology products for the B2B, mobile and retail markets, has announced organisational changes to its European, UK and Ireland operations. Paul Bryan, Exertis UK managing director, will take on the added responsibility of the Irish business. ASBIS adds TYAN rights

ASBIS has becomes an official distributor of TYAN in EMEA emerging markets. The distribution agreement covers Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), the Baltic States, the Former Soviet Union, the Middle East and Africa.
