HP has named LetMeRepair as an authorised home product service partner in South Africa. The latest appointment forms part of HP’s ongoing efforts to diversify and improve the service delivery experience for customers and partners in South Africa. Comtek pushes European RMA service

Comtek Network Systems will offer its regional return material authorisation (RMA) service to overseas vendors, providing them with a range of administrative, logistic and technical services to manage the process of replacing in and out of warranty hardware products across Europe. Comtek has set up three European RMA and repair facilities and reckons that third party vendors can cut costs and improve the speed and efficiency of replacing hardware kit by using its service. Synaxon UK adds Ingram Micro

Reseller group Synaxon has signed an official supplier agreement with Ingram Micro in the UK. The deal means that Synaxon’s members will have access to the full range of products stocked by the broadline distribution giant. Fast-growing ComTrade Group has continued its acquisition policy in South East Europe, snapping up Sarajevo-based Insoft, a leading IT securities trading solutions provider in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Lenovo picks CI solution for Europe

Lenovo has struck a deal to use a channel management solution from Channel Intelligence (CI) to manage its online and offline dealer channels in Europe. The CI solution will provide ‘where-to-buy’ functionality inside the web properties of Lenovo and its dealers. Saaspoint goes for Google

Saaspoint, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) implementation and consulting outfit, has signed up for Google’s enterprise partner programme. Saaspoint plans to use Google Apps to deliver desktop and mobile applications to enterprise and SMB customers. Google unveils Apps reseller programme

Web behemoth Google has whipped the covers off an authorised reseller programme for its Google Apps suite. The company launched Google Apps for business two years ago and the suite is today used by more than 1 million businesses with 3,000 new companies signing up each day.
