Infor targets extra EMEA partners

Business software vendor Infor will hit the road as part of its campaign to recruit more channel partners across the EMEA region. The channel recruitment drive will include a road show in September, following on from the vendor’s annual EMEA partner conference, which is taking place in Marbella on September 3rd.

Infor claims that the recruitment drive will build on the vendor’s recent channel successes in EMEA, which include more that 350 new customer wins in the region during the last year. Channel sales account for 18% of Infor’s total licence sales in EMEA.

“Infor is the world’s 10th largest software company and having acquired some of the best solutions in the market, we provide channel partners with proven solutions for their customers," commented Jean-Philippe Pommel, VP EMEA channels and alliances at Infor.

"Our approach to channel recruitment is focused on quality over quantity. We are not looking to take on thousands of partners and risk dilution of our focused approach, but a smaller number of partners which are well aligned with our products and company ethos," Pommel added.

Infor is looking for both resellers and system integrators to drive sales of its ERP, SCM, warehouse management (WMS), enterprise asset management (EAM), human capital management (HCM), expense management (EM), performance management (PM) and financial management (FM) solutions.
