by Stuart Wilson, Wednesday 2 July 2008

Egyptian solution provider and systems integrator Giza Systems has set up shop in Dubai, expanding its presence in the Gulf region. Giza’s new office will be located at Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai.

Ahmed Kamal, general manager for Giza System’s telecoms unit, commented: “Our Dubai office opening marks tremendous growth in our organisation and our markets. We now serve clients in six Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, and look forward to contributing to local and regional development with our technology solutions, commitment and outstanding customer service.”

Giza serves customers in all major verticals including telecoms, oil and gas, manufacturing, utilities, government and financial services. According to Giza’s website the company partners with a number of A-brand vendors including HP, Microsoft, Oracle, CA and EMC.

“Ever since its inception in 1974, Giza Systems founded its philosophy on being a total IT solution provider to the Egyptian and regional market. There is no question about the vital role that technology plays in any successful organisation in today’s world,” added Kamal.

“The real question is how to maximise the benefits of technology to empower business to its fullest potential. The answer is through offering a range of solutions and services that are carefully thought out and mastered throughout the years,” he continued.
