DISTREE Events has confirmed that its Structured Wishlist system will be made available to exhibitors participating at DISTREE Asia-Pacific (APAC) 2019, which takes place in Singapore on November 6-8th. DISTREE APAC is a premium hosted buyer event that allows consumer tech, consumer electronics (CE) and IT brands to hold pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with senior executives from top distributors, retailers and e-tailers from across the region.

Stuart Wilson, Event Director for DISTREE APAC, said: “The Structured Wishlist system gives exhibitors greater influence on the audience composition for DISTREE APAC 2019. It allows exhibitors to nominate specific channel partners they wish to hold one-on-one meetings with at the event. These companies are then assessed by our recruitment team and prioritised within our audience database for a hosted buyer invite to DISTREE APAC 2019.”

The introduction of the Structured Wishlist module will give exhibitors increased influence on the selection of companies from our database that receive hosted buyer invites.”

As a premium hosted buyer event, audience quality is integral to the continued success of DISTREE APAC. Channel executives selected to receive a hosted buyer invite must work for a distributor, retailer, e-tailer or marketplace, sourcing and selling technology products to other channel partners or to consumers. Hosted buyers must have responsibility for vendor relationships within the organisation and the authority and ability to meet new brands and discuss potential business relationships.

Verla-Friess added: “DISTREE APAC is specifically designed to allow exhibitors to manage, build or launch routes-to-market across APAC in the most efficient way possible. The one-on-one meetings that take place at the event are pre-scheduled, ensuring that all delegates get the maximum possible business benefits and return on investment (ROI) from their participation.”

“The new Structured Wishlist module, coupled with DISTREE Events’ extensive and fully updated channel database, will ensure the highest possible audience quality at DISTREE APAC 2019. DISTREE Events will evaluate all wishlist submissions received by September 6th 2019 (two months prior to the event) and issue hosted buyer invites to eligible individuals that meet the qualification criteria. The number of wishlist submissions an exhibitor can request is linked to the exhibitor package they have selected for DISTREE APAC 2019.

DISTREE APAC 2019 will invite delegates from the following markets in South East Asia: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. SAARC countries of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will also form part of the delegate base. Oceania-based channel partners from Australia and New Zealand will also receive invites, as will distributors and key retailers from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and China in North-Asia.
