Smart air quality sensor brand uHoo has confirmed its participation at DISTREE Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) 2019, which takes place in Monaco from February 19-22nd. The 17th annual hosted buyer consumer tech, consumer electronics (CE) and IT channel event will give brands from around the world a unique opportunity to hold pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with senior executives from the region’s top distributors, retailers and e-tailers.

Dustin Jefferson Onghanseng, co-founder and CEO at uHoo, said: “We want to secure distributors for the region at DISTREE EMEA. We will be showcasing the uHoo indoor air quality sensor - the most comprehensive air sensor in the market.”

“We see Europe as a great opportunity for growth, particularly Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and the Scandinavian countries. We also see the USA as a major driver for growth,” he added.

As a premium brand, uHoo offers an attractive margin proposition for channel partners. uHoo offers a standard distribution agreement with clear incentives for driving volume that increase the margins available for distributors.

“Our brand is about enhancing health and wellbeing both for the home and the workplaces. Distributors also would be able to push products to enterprises as we have a good number of enterprise customers already using uHoo,” continued Onghanseng.

In just 14 months in the market, uHoo is already used in offices, hospitals, schools and hotels and in multiple industries across more than 10 countries, including clients such as Ascendas, Schiphol airport, Linde, Ricola, Gammon and the government of the Netherlands, among others.

Facilities managers are using uHoo’s enterprise dashboard and linking it to their building management systems to make building management smarter. uHoo has partnered with JLL and has deployed uHoo at District6 in Odeon Towers in Singapore.

Onghanseng continued: “Our business in EMEA is steadily growing both on the B2C and B2B side. The main trends we see are people’s desire for a healthier home and workplace, the focus of enterprises on employee wellbeing and the increasing awareness and concern on air pollution.”

For 2019, we want to triple our sales for the consumer market and double our sales for the enterprise market. Distributors, retailers and e-tailers attending DISTREE EMEA 2019 will have the opportunity to pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with the uHoo executive team at next year’s event. uHoo is a Singapore-based start-up and will be part of a dedicated Singapore pavilion at DISTREE EMEA 2019.
