Launched in April 2017, Kaspersky Lab’s dedicated managed service provider (MSP) partner programme has reached 1000 registered partners. Cybersecurity is a fast-growing part of a service provider’s offering and this landmark indicates a continued and strong focus on endpoint protection services in the industry. In total, 95% of Kaspersky’s MSP partners are in Europe.

MSPs in the Benelux account for 34% of the total, with 28% from France and 16% from the Nordics. Kaspersky’s recent survey revealed that 51% of MSPs believe that cybersecurity for IT operations is the main trend that will affect the MSP market during the next three to five years.

Adam Maskatiya, general manager at Kaspersky Lab UK, said: “Adding our thousandth partner demonstrates how successful our MSP partner programme is. We’re proud that we’ve gained the MSP community’s trust and will continue to work with our partners to provide Kaspersky Lab’s award-winning products.”

“This year will see us significantly expand our offerings to service providers, with a focus on the Enterprise market. By working with us, our partners will be able to improve and develop their offerings and continually expand their businesses,” Maskatiya added.

Kaspersky Lab’s offering for MSPs includes products and technologies for mail server protection, virtualisation security and endpoint protection. As the programme’s first year results demonstrate, protection for endpoints, including managed security, remote monitoring and mobile device management remain the main area of profit for service providers.

Managed service providers registered in the programme can choose between cloud and on-premises endpoint protection, depending on the customer needs: whether it’s a flexible, quick to roll out and easy to run cloud-based product, or a scalable, fully integrated, tiered endpoint security platform with on-premises management

This year Kaspersky Lab is expanding the portfolio available for MSPs by adding the recently launched product Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365, and the next generation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business.
