Wistiki to expand channels at DISTREE APAC 2017

France-based Wistiki has established a strong position in the market for trackers. Positioned as a premium tracker brand with an emphasis on high-quality design, Wistiki is now planning to expand its channel reach within Asia Pacific (APAC). Wistiki will attend DISTREE APAC in Singapore this November to meet senior executives from hundreds of top consumer tech distributors from across the region.

Bruno Lussato, co-founder at Wistiki, explained: “We have already developed the brand in France, Benelux and Japan. The Wistiki brand is now established as a leader in trackers in those countries. Wistiki has now sold hundreds of thousands of units in these markets.”

“We are now looking to develop the brand in other countries in APAC and our target markets include Australia and South-East Asia. We are attending DISTREE APAC to identify the best channel partners and distributors to make Wistiki a major brand in more markets,” he added.

As a confirmed exhibitor at DISTREE APAC, Wistiki can pre-research all channel attendees and build a bespoke agenda of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings that take place during the event. This allows each exhibitor to create a tailored programme of meetings with highly relevant partners suitable for their precise business needs. The unique DISTREE format has helped hundreds of consumer tech brands launch, build or manager channels at various events around the world.

Wistiki believes that it offers a compelling channel proposition for channel partners and a product range that stands out in the market. The Wisitki aha tracker is also now available – a more compact Bluetooth tracker that can even be fitted to a pet’s collar.

Lussato explained: “The Wistiki product range can deliver decent margins for channel partners – we generate a lot of value-add. We are looking for distributors that have specific capabilities. We aim to produce high-end products with unique selling points (USPs) such as our association with designer Philippe Starck and the fact that our products are 100% waterproof.”

“The Wistiki range is great for distributors and retailers. We find that once customers have bought one product, they come back to buy other products in the range. I look forward to telling the Wistiki story to distributors at DISTREE APAC,” he added.

“We’re not looking for distributors that will just list our products. When we launch in a new country, we do it properly and invest in marketing and merchandising and media outreach. We need a distributor that can fully support us in this process,” explained Lussato.

Distributors and channel partners confirmed to attend DISTREE APAC can pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with Wistiki at this year’s event. Wistiki previously attended DISTREE’s EMEA-focused event in Monaco in February 2017.
