Wistiki to expand channel reach in EMEA

France-based Wistiki has established a strong position in the market for trackers. The company’s key tracker will soon be joined by trackers for pets and even your wallet. Positioned as a premium tracker brand with an emphasis on high-quality design, Wistiki has achieved significant success in several countries around the world. Wistiki is now ready to expand into new markets and is attending DISTREE EMEA in Monaco this month to identify new distributors that can expand the brand’s geographic reach.

Bruno Lussato, co-founder at Wistiki, explained: “We have concentrated so far on developing the brand in France, Benelux and Japan. The Wistiki brand is now established as a leader in trackers in those countries. Wistiki has now sold more than 500,000 units in these markets.”

“We are now looking to develop the brand in other countries in Europe and the Middle East. We are attending DISTREE EMEA to identify the best channel partners and distributors to make Wistiki a major brand in more countries,” he added.

“We will look to appoint one distributor in major countries and may give other distributors a regional role if it makes sense for them to cover more than one market. We’re really looking for distributors that can help us open up retail channels in target markets,” Lussato continued.

Wistiki believes that it offers a compelling channel proposition for channel partners and a product range that stands out in the market.

Lussato explained: “The Wistiki product range can deliver decent margins for channel partners – we generate a lot of value-add. We are looking for distributors that have specific capabilities. We aim to produce high-end products with unique selling points (USPs) such as our association with designer Philippe Starck and the fact that our products are 100% waterproof.”

“The Wistiki range is great for distributors and retailers. We find that once customers have bought one product, they come back to buy other products in the range. I look forward to telling the Wistiki story to distributors at DISTREE EMEA. I managed to pretty much fill my personal agenda of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings at the event within two hours, which shows the levels of interest in our brand,” he added.

“We’re not looking for distributors that will just list our products. When we launch in a new country, we do it properly and invest in marketing and merchandising and media outreach. We need a distributor that can fully support us in this process,” explained Lussato.

Wistiki has raised €10m (US$10.6m) in rounds of funding since it was established four years ago, by three brothers. The company is now ready to scale up its operation and enter new markets. Talking to the Wistiki team, you get the impression that this is the start of an exciting new chapter in the company’s growth.

Distributors and channel partners confirmed to attend DISTREE EMEA can pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with Wistiki at this year’s event.
