Ingram Micro partners with Nexthink in META

by Stuart Wilson, Monday 12 December 2016

Distribution giant Ingram Micro has partnered with IT analytics solution provider Nexthink. Ingram Micro has been confirmed as a Nexthink VAD for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region. It is hoped that the partnership will help the distributor tap into the growing IT operations analytics market, which is expected to reach US$9.79 billion per annum by 2020.

Nexthink recently introduced its latest version V6 that aims to offer organisations real-time analytics and insights from an employee perspective, to make smarter data-driven decisions and align their IT operations with the needs of the business and the end-users. These meaningful insights are designed to help the IT team to respond to performance issues, failures, crashes, and security issues more quickly and efficiently.

Dr. Ali Baghdadi, SVP and chief executive at Ingram Micro META, said: “Our focus on cybersecurity and its value-added services is becoming our priority. Therefore, partnering with Nexthink is a natural extension to our portfolio and enables us to offer IT analytics solutions across the region, which is a significant differentiator in the markets in which Ingram Micro operates. We look forward to a successful partnership.”

Ingram Micro will work closely with Nexthink to build on the relationships with existing partners and customers as the demand for IT operations analytics (ITOA) solutions grows. The addition of Nexthink to its portfolio will enable Ingram Micro to provide IT analytics solutions to its channel partners, resellers, system integrators, and end-users.

Yassine Zaied, executive VP Middle East and emerging markets at Nexthink, said: “Nexthink enriches Ingram Micro ’s existing portfolio and customers will benefit from real-time visibility of their infrastructures from the end-user perspective. This partnership complements our current routes to market, ensuring every option is available to our resellers and end-users.”

New SMB Channels event

SMB Channels Middle East, organised by DISTREE Events, will launch in Dubai in May 2017. The new two-day event will bring together 300 executives from the region’s leading resellers of IT solutions focused on serving small and medium businesses (SMBs). More than 60 vendors and value-added distributors (VADs) are set to showcase their solutions and services in the main exhibition area at SMB Channels Middle East.
