Eros becomes Nokia KDR

Eros Digital Home has been appointed as a key distributor retailer (KDR) in the UAE by mobile phone colossus Nokia. The agreement means that Nokia mobile phones and accessories will now be available in all Eros Digital Home outlets across the UAE.

Deepak Babani, CEO of Eros Group, commented: “ We are proud to be appointed as KDR by Nokia. This positions Eros amongst the key retailers in the distribution channel of Nokia in the UAE. This partnership firms up our commitment towards developing renowned brands in this market. Now, with the addition of Nokia mobile phones, customers will have the best of mobile phone models to choose from all Eros Digital Home outlets.”

Eros Group is a leading distributor and retailer of consumer electronics, digital products, telecom, air conditioning and allied multi products in the Middle East Region. The Group distributes brands such as Samsung, Hitachi, Taurus, among others. Eros Digital Home is the retail wing of Eros Group with over 21 retail locations spread across the Emirates.

Eros wants to become the leading supplier of electronic and digital products in the Middle East region, according to the company’s website. The group now has a strong team of around 850 employees with professional experience in various fields. With strong demand for mobile phones and accessories within the UAE and across the wider Middle East region, Eros’ latest agreement with Nokia is clearly an important and strategic vendor relationship.
