Beko targets Asia-Pacific region

Beko, one of Europe’s fastest growing home appliance brands, has set its sights on significant growth by expanding into Asian Pacific and North American markets. Intermedia appoints Martorano as global sales boss

Intermedia, a cloud business applications provider, has appointed Eric Martorano as its new senior VP of worldwide sales, effective September 15th. Martorano comes to Intermedia from Microsoft, where he most recently served as general manager of US partner sales and developed, launched and managed channel partner programmes. Read full story

DevTech goes global with Ingram Micro

DevTech, a cloud enablement company, has signed a global distribution agreement with Ingram Micro. The agreement will allow Ingram Micro to distribute vPoint, DevTech’s multi-cloud orchestration solution which aims to simplify the way cloud infrastructures are created, managed, consumed and grown, via the Ingram Micro Cloud platform. Chinese gaming market hits US$21.1 billion in 2015

The gaming market remains a bright spot for the global technology market, with China encapsulating the huge potential for sales and margins the sector represents. The latest research from IDC claims that the number of gamers in China hit 530 million in 2015 with another 24 million expected to become gamers in 2016. China’s gaming market – defined by IDC as both software and consoles – was worth US$21.1 billion in 2015. Read full story

Razer signs Synnex in Australia

Nubia eyes European and Latin American markets

Smartphone brand Nubia has announced expansion plans for Europe and Latin America. Consumers in Mexico, Argentina, Russia, Spain and Germany will soon be able to purchase the latest nubia devices in their domestic markets. That includes the nubia Z11 mini, Z9 mini and Z9 Max. Mai Donghai, senior VP of Nubia Technology and co-founder of the nubia brand, said: “nubia has had success in China for the past three years, and now we are setting our sights on new international markets for expansion. Nubia signs Ronaldo as brand ambassador
