Sandisk sales climb in Kuwait

Flash memory vendor Sandisk has revealed that its unit sales in Kuwait doubled year-on-year in 2010. Sandisk works with distribution partner Future Communications in Kuwait and has developed a strong brand presence in major retailers across the country. Read full story

Citrix names new MEA boss

Virtual computing solutions vendor Citrix has appointed Aaron White as its regional director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. White joins Citrix from VMware where he looked after the vendor’s channel and alliance programmes across the Eastern EMEA operation. White replaces Antoine Aguado as the regional boss for Citrix in MEA. Aguado left Citrix at the end of 2010. Read full story

Vision adds Prodata as African VAD

Vision Solutions has strengthened its channel reach in Southern Africa signing Prodata as a VAD partner. Vision claims that the deal comes on the back of strong sales regional growth during 2010. Prodata specialises in availability software for Windows and Linux operating systems. The agreement covers South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique. Read full story
