Zimbabwe-based retailer and reseller 5th Generation has ambitious plans to grow its business. The company is one of hundreds of channel partners attending this month’s DISTREE Africa to meet product vendors and major distributors that can help it achieve its goals. Dutch Reliable offers channel gateway to Burundi

This month’s DISTREE Africa will give technology and consumer electronics brands access to new and emerging routes-to-market from across the continent. Burundi-based reseller Dutch Reliable Company (DRC) is one of hundreds of channel partners attending DISTREE Africa. Jumia rolls out mobile week promotion

Seven days, seven different mobile brands tempting consumers with hugely aggressive price points and deep discounts. That’s the simple concept behind e-tailer Jumia’s new mobile week promotion running from June 1st to 7th. The seven vendors lined up to take part one after the other from Monday to Sunday for Jumia in the Ivory Coast are Innjoo, Microsoft, Itel, LG, Infinix, Samsung and X-tigi. Jumia claims that some of the offers will see mobile prices drop by 47% during the promotion. Read full story

USCT plans to expand presence in Congo

DISTREE Africa 2015 offers technology and consumer electronics (CE) brands unprecedented access to the region’s most influential channel partners. United States Contracting & Trading (USCT) a 100-strong distributor and reseller based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, hopes to add meet new suppliers at this year’s DISTREE Africa. Linksys confirmed for DISTREE Africa 2015

Global networking brand Linksys has confirmed its participation at this month’s DISTREE Africa channel event. Linksys will use its presence at the event to make contact with channel partners across the region. Linksys, which recently became the first company to have sold 100 million routers since its launch, plans to maintain a leadership position by expanding its channel reach within Africa.
