Device42 adds Meta Byte as Middle East distributor

G Data MEA appoints channel sales manager

Security solutions player G Data MEA has appointed Mohammed Raziuddin Amir as its new channel sales manager for Asia, Middle East & Africa (MEA). Amir joins G Data MEA with more than 20 years of experience in IT sales, specialising in antivirus and security software sales. LG gram launched in Bahrain

LG Electronics (LG) has teamed up with distributor AJM Kooheji Group to launch the superlight LG gram laptop in Bahrain through an exclusive partnership with telecoms provider Batelco. Available in shades of white and gold, the LG gram series - consisting of two models with 14” and 15.6” screens - will be initially available in all Batelco stores in Bahrain. TP-Link promotes Neffos smartphone range

Xtouch launches latest smartphone in UAE

Consumer electronics brand Xtouch has whipped the covers off its latest 4G LTE smartphone. The lightweight device, called Unix, features a touch fingerprint sensor, slim design, dual SIM capabilities and one-piece metal body. The new device is available at Dubai’s Gitex Shopper for AED786 (US$214) and comes with a free virtual reality (VR) headset worth AED199 (US$54). Read full story

TP-Link unveils upgrade campaign
