Cisco Middle East hands Shukri Eid regional role

Cisco Middle East has announced that Shukri Eid has been appointed managing director of its East region effective immediately. In his new role, Shukri will lead Cisco’s business in the UAE, Oman, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen and work closely with partners to support private and public sector customers in their efforts to digitise and transform their operations. Canon research highlights MENA opportunities

Organisations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region are taking steps to embrace the ‘Office of the Future’ concept, revolutionising how their employees work and operate. This is evident in the Office Insights 2016 report released by Canon which states that 63% of organisations in the MENA region see value in the ability to print remotely from a smartphone, tablet or laptop. TechAccess trains partners on Extreme Networks

Security Triggers appoints Al Farqad

Security Triggers, a master distributor company for G Data Software, has appointed Al Farqad Technology as a new distributor in Bahrain. Al Farqad will represent and distribute the entire range of G Data security products. A10 Networks signs Shifra as Middle East VAD

Application networking and security outfit A10 Networks has signed Shifra as a Middle East VAD. The deal will enable Shifra’s regional channel partners to offer A10 Networks’ technology solutions to enterprise customers across the Middle East.
