CTRONIQ ranked number one for sub-US$100 tablets sold through retail in Saudi Arabia

Fast-growing mobile device brand CTRONIQ is rapidly increasing its market share in the Saudi Arabian tablet category. CTRONIQ was the number one brand for sub-US$100 tablets sold through the retail channel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in December 2015, with 27% share of market volume, according to data from GfK. Al Hosani adds Wacom rights in GCC

Middle East distributor Al Hosani has officially added Wacom to its vendor portfolio. Al Hosani now holds GCC distribution rights for Wacom’s portfolio of interactive pen tablets, pen displays and digital interface technologies. BDL Gulf appoints new CEO

Middle East distributor BDL Gulf has appointed Khaled Osman as its new CEO. The appointment follows the recent acquisition of BDL Gulf by Saudi Arabia-based conglomerate Al-Sudais Group. Osman will head and manage BDL Gulf’s entire GCC operations, driving growth and cementing the company’s position in the traditional IT, wholesale and consumer electronics distribution space. In addition, Osman will also be responsible for guiding the company as it looks to expand its vendor alliances and drive in-country channel development strategies. Read full story
