The ‘EMEA Channel Academy: 2016 Awards’ were held in conjunction with regional channel event DISTREE EMEA 2016. These included a series of initiative awards based on applications received from vendors, distributors, resellers and retailers. Distributor winners announced for ‘EMEA Channel Academy: 2016 Awards’ at DISTREE EMEA

The ‘EMEA Channel Academy: 2016 Awards’ were held in conjunction with regional channel event DISTREE EMEA 2016. These included a series of 11 awards for technology and consumer electronics (CE) distributors, with the winners announced at a Gala Dinner at Salle des Etoiles in Monaco held on Friday February 26th. A total of nine distributors received awards with Ingram Micro and Tech Data winning two apiece, and 2BY2, ABC Data, Asbis, Comtrade, EET Group, Esquire and Marvel winning one each. Read full story

DISTREE EMEA finishes after successful regional consumer technology channel event in Monaco

The 14th annual DISTREE EMEA has finished, with 1000 delegates attending the four-day channel event, which took place from February 24th to 27th at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. DISTREE Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) provided technology and consumer electronics (CE) brands with the opportunity to pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with senior executives from the region’s most influential retailers, e-tailers and distributors. Tech Data Europe to attend DISTREE EMEA 2016

Distribution giant Tech Data Europe will attend DISTREE EMEA 2016, a leading trade event for the information and communications technology (ICT) and consumer electronics (CE) channels, which takes place on 24-27th February at the Grimaldi Forum, Monte Carlo. The event brings together senior retail executives from across Europe along with distributor representatives from Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Africa. Read full story

Gunitech to showcase smart home products

Growing consumer interest in smart home products and solutions is seeing more distributors, retailers and e-tailers adding new brands to their portfolio. At this week’s DISTREE EMEA channel event in Monaco, a number of exhibitors will be showcasing their smart home products, including Gunitech.
