Computerlinks to dish up satellite service

VAD outfit Computerlinks has announced plans to provide a suite of business internet continuity services for UK resellers to push from the first quarter of 2011. Canon Middle East unveils 2011 plans

Printing and imaging solutions vendor Canon has outlined its Middle East growth strategies for 2011 at a partner conference held in Abu Dhabi. More than 100 partners fro 24 countries in the MENA region turned up for Canon’s channel event. Europc sale to start on ‘Black Friday’

UK-based refurbished IT hardware e-tailer Europc.co.uk will launch its Christmas clearance sale on Friday 26th November. The company has picked the date to coincide with ‘Black Friday’ – the traditional start of the Christmas shopping season in the USA. Magirus bags B-Series configurator status

VAD outfit Magirus has become the first European distributor to achieve Cisco unified computing system B-Series authorised configurator (UBAC) status. This means that Magirus can tailor data centre solutions based on Cisco unified computing system B-series servers for certified Cisco authorised technology provider (ATP) resellers in less than five working days. Gulf Business Machines (GBM) has acquired Performance Systems, a provider of corporate performance management and business intelligence solutions in MENA - and the Cognos preferred services partner for the region. GBM operates as an IT solutions and service provider and has acquired Performance Systems from Almasa Business Solutions. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Read full story
