Ingram Micro signs NVIDIA deal for META region

Distributor Ingram Micro has struck a new deal with components vendor NVIDIA. Under the terms of the agreement, Ingram Micro is authorised to sell and promote NVIDIA’s deep learning, GPU virtualisation and high performance computing solutions in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey and South Africa. Danby expands European distribution

Exertis, a distributor of technology products for the B2B, mobile and retail markets has announced its distribution of under counter fridges, chest freezers, and wine and beverage coolers from Danby, a leading refrigeration and speciality home-comfort appliance company in North America. DCC Technology buys Jam Industries

DCC Technology, a leading sales, marketing and services partner for global technology brands has announced the acquisition by DCC plc of Jam Industries, one of North America’s largest value-added distributor of musical instruments, professional audio and consumer electronics products. Asbis adds SanDisk consumer product rights

Distributor Asbis has extended its channel relationship with storage giant Western Digital to carry SanDisk consumer products in 13 countries. SanDisk consumer goods are now included in the distribution portfolio of Asbis in the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Tunisia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Tech Data UK extends HP Pavilion range

Distributor Tech Data has extended its long-standing partnership with HP to make the vendor’s full range of Pavilion-branded systems – including 2-in-1 devices, notebooks and convertibles, all-in-ones and desktops - available to UK retailers and resellers. AB Group increases market share

Distributor AB Group claims to have increased its market share by 4% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2018. The distributor, which operates in Central & Eastern Europe attributes the increase to its broad product offering, e-commerce tools and automation of logistics processes. CONTEXT data highlights distribution growth

The IT channel has had a strong start to 2018 with a combined first half year-on-year growth rate in distribution of 5.1%, according to CONTEXT, the IT market intelligence company. Resellers in most countries more optimistic about the coming 12 months than they were a year ago. DISTREE EMEA drives new distribution deals

DISTREE Events has revealed the findings of its post-event distributor research* for DISTREE Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) 2018, which took place in Monaco in February. Based on this year’s findings, there was an average of 4.02 signed distribution agreements per exhibitor at DISTREE EMEA 2018, with a further 4.27 currently under negotiation for each participating brand.
