Vosky adds Noanet as European distributor

Vosky has struck a distribution agreement with Noanet. Vosky, which develops Skype for business solutions, will use Noanet as a channel to market for its Vosky Exchange PBX-to-Skype application gateways. Noanet will market the product line through its channel of 200 VARs throughout Spain, Portugal and France. Read full story

Samsung lands Long for European printer push

Samsung Europe has lured Graham Long from HP to become its new European printing business director. In his new role, Long will assume responsibility for strengthening Samsung’s number two position in the European printing market. Samsung will also look to Long to drive the growth of the vendor’s European laser printing business in 2008 by more than 50%. Read full story

UK-based telecoms and data distribution specialist Nimans has added Netgear to its official portfolio. Nimans will stock a range of Netgear kit including switching, wireless and firewall solutions as the distributor looks to broaden its data product portfolio. Xerox picks up Veenman for US$68m

Document solutions powerhouse Xerox has completed its acquisition of Dutch distributor Veenman for US$68m cash. Xerox says that the deal will double its sales force in the Netherlands and open up a route-to-market for more than 4,000 in-country SMB customers. The deal pairs Xerox’s document products and services portfolio with Veenman’s channel reach. Read full story

Yosemite extends European channel reach

Yosemite Technologies has cranked up its channel to market in Europe with a bevy of new distribution agreements. Yosemite, a global provider of data protection software solutions, has signed up Adagio Technologies, Northamber and Virtual Subsidiary, boosting the distribution of its backup solutions for SMBs. Garmin completes Formar deal

Satellite navigation device vendor Garmin has completed the purchase of Formar Electronics – the distributor of its products in Belgium and Luxembourg. The company will be renamed Garmin Belux and will retain its management, sales, marketing and support staff, consisting of 25 people. The unit will continue operating from its office and warehouse facility in Brussels. Read full story
