UAE-based e-tailer JadoPado has tripled its sales year-on-year. Revenues for the year ending March 31st 2013 hit US$4.3m as consumer showed an increasing propensity to purchase online. Vlados expands Russian retail network
Russian technology retailer Vlados continues to expand its network of stores. Vlados recently opened a new store in Labinsk, giving it a network of 25 outlets in south Russia. Vlados is one of hundreds of retail chains that will participate in DISTREE Russia & CIS 2013 in June. Treolan adds Huawei Enterprise rights
Russian distributor Treolan, part of the LANIT group, has added Huawei Enterprise products to its vendor portfolio. Under the terms of the agreement Treolan becomes an official Russian distributor for Huawei Enterprise. The distributor will carry a range of solutions aimed at government and large account clients across multiple vertical markets. Treolan will carry the full portfolio of Huawei Enterprise solutions and make them available to its in-country reseller base. (lire la suite)

Jumbo and Emax satisfied with Shopper sales
Retailers Jumbo and Emax have lifted the lid on their sales performance at the inaugural Gitex Shopper Spring sales event, which took place in Dubai earlier this month. Jumbo claims that its sales at Gitex Shopper Spring were 10% above what it achieved during the main Gitex Shopper that took place in 2012. Emax reckoned that its sales for Gitex Shopper Spring were 25% above expectations. (lire la suite)

PC Zone targets e-tail growth
Jordan-based retailer PC Zone continues to develop its reputation as an in-country e-tailer for ICT and consumer electronics (CE) products. PC Zone’s e-commerce site has now been up and running for a year. The retailer claims that www.pczoneshop.com is already one of the top ten e-commerce websites in Jordan. The website has had more than 320,000 visits in the last 12 months with each use spending an average of five minutes on the site. (lire la suite)
