Iomega adds Kuwait distributor

Storage vendor Iomega has boosted its Middle East channel coverage, signing an in-country distribution deal in Kuwait with Al Babtain. AMD names Biolchini as META boss

Components vendor AMD has named Bernard Biolchini as VP sales and general manager for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region. Based in Dubai, Biolchini will manage all regional sales and marketing activities. AMD has undergone numerous changes to its Middle East and Africa (MEA) management structure in recent years. Lalonde leaves Extra

Kevin Lalonde has stepped down as COO at Saudi Arabian retailer Extra. Lalonde left Extra last month, bringing to an end his three-and-a-half year involvement with the fast-growing IT and consumer electronics retailer.
