Top channel executives confirm XXL attendance

DISTREE XXL 2009 looks set to attract a record turnout of top EMEA channel executives from both the vendor and distributor community. The event, which takes place in Monaco from the 9th to 12th February 2009, promises an action-packed agenda for all delegates. The 2009 event will also feature the inaugural EMEA Channel Academy Awards – a glittering gala dinner with live electronic voting held in the world famous Salle des Etoiles at Sporting Monte Carlo.

“We have already received an incredible number of confirmations for DISTREEE XXL 2009,” said Farouk Hemraj, CEO at DISTREE Events. “The event has become the ‘must attend’ annual meeting for EMEA channel executives. The inclusion of the EMEA Channel Academy Awards and the launch of new initiatives such as the Channel EMEA50 distributor meeting mean that even more delegates can drive even more value by attending DISTREE XXL 2009.”

Senior EMEA channel executives from leading vendors including AMD, Cisco, Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba and Western Digital to name but a few, have all confirmed their attendance at DISTREE XXL. More than 500 executives from EMEA’s top distribution companies will also make the trip to Monaco come February 2009 with strong representation from Africa, the Middle East, Russia and Eastern Europe as well as the markets of Western Europe.

Top EMEA executives from major distributors including Aptec, Avnet, Axis, Enta Group, Ergodata, GNT (part of ALSO), Ingram Micro, Logicom, OCS, Pronox, Rectron, Redington, RSI and MB Technologies have already confirmed their spot at DISTREE XXL with more big names signing up to attend on a daily basis.

The DISTREE XXL conference and workshop programme features offers deep insight into the trends and business issues influencing the direction and development of the EMEA channel.

In addition to keynote speeches from industry leading research houses such as GfK, the DISTREE XXL workshop programme brings together some of the leading channel consultants, analysts and commentators from across EMEA for interactive small group sessions.
