Ironkey ramps up channel numbers

by Stuart Wilson, Wednesday 9 July 2008

US-based flash drive vendor Ironkey has announced that more than 100 VARs are now signed up for its global channel programme. The vendor has also beefed up the benefits of its partner programme to provide even more comprehensive support to resellers. Ironkey’s current VAR base includes partners in the UK, France, Germany and Norway within EMEA.

“IronKey owes its success in large part to its partners, and we work tirelessly to nurture these relationships,” said Stewart Fox, VP of sales at IronKey. “We consider our partners an integral part of the team. The IronKey global channel partner programme is simple to understand, and delivers comprehensive tools and support to help partners around the world drive greater business success.”

The vendor claims that the expanded programme enables Ironkey VARs to more quickly drive new and higher-quality revenue streams by fulfilling the rapidly growing worldwide demand for secure USB flash drives.

“Security is our only business, and we focus on anticipating and solving client problems,” said Joel Baldus, partner and VP of sales at Tevora Business Solutions. “We carry only those solutions that we feel push the evolution of information security forward - we added Ironkey to our offering because Ironkey has been focused on security from its inception.”

“As a result they develop the best, most secure USB flash drive technology on the market today. Ironkey has been a true partner in working with us. Together we create new business innovation for our existing clients,” Baldus added.

VARs signing up for the Ironkey global partner programme can access a range of benefits including product discount, dedicated sales manager support, lead generation tools, technical support, training and a comprehensive partner portal. The programme offers both elite VAR and certified VAR status.

“From a corporate reputation standpoint and for regulatory compliance reasons, our customers are extremely concerned about protecting proprietary and private information,” said Tommie L. Moon, network solutions consultant at SSP Data. “We’ve partnered with IronKey to ensure that mission-critical information will be secure. It’s easy to add IronKey to any network security solution to provide world-class protection for mobile data.”
