DTK drives MEA channel expansion
by Stuart Wilson, Tuesday 15 May 2012
Hardware vendor DTK is ready to meet with potential channel partners from across the wider Middle East and Africa (MEA) region (and beyond) this week. DTK is exhibiting at DISTREE Middle East and has set its sights on identifying additional partners in the GCC and Africa. With retailers from the CIS region attending DISTREE Middle East for the first time in 2012, DTK will also look to form channel partnerships in this growing market – an area where it currently does not have a presence.
Ziad H. Yassine, regional sales and marketing manager at DTK, said: “DISTREE Middle East is a renowned conference where retailers, distributors, and worldwide vendors come together under one roof. It is a well organised event allowing meetings and product showcase opportunities in an efficient business environment.
Within the GCC region, DTK is keen to identify additional channel partners in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. DTK’s product portfolio includes business desktops, workstations and servers, monitors, multimedia home computers, notebooks, netbooks, tablets and rugged devices.
“DTK offers excellent product availability and delivery times, competitive pricing, a strong after sales service policy and a diversity product portfolio,” added Yassine. “We have product promotions, a support and rebate policy, plus attractive retail margins and markups.”
“DTK’s regional office is an independent business unit with all decisions made locally to ensure adequate and proper feedback to partners in a convenient and timely manner,” Yassine continued. “To develop DTK’s retail business successfully, we are offering strong marketing support to partners to display, expose, and convey DTK branding, including effective product marketing activities related to promotions, POS displays and rebates.”
DTK has been working hard to become a strong player in the regional retail channel during the last two years. This plan will continue in 2012 and beyond Yassine confirmed.
“DTK is a flexible and supportive company to its channel partners. We aim to conduct a business where partners are able to make money if they put in the necessary efforts and resources. DTK’s go-to-market approach is based on transparent and interactive business relationships with partners,” Yassine concluded.
