Logicom adds APC rights in UAE

Logicom has extended its Middle East distribution agreement with APC by Schneider Electric to cover the UAE market. Distributor Logicom has held APC rights in Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Yemen for the last three years and has delivered continuous growth in these markets. APC by Schneider Electric supplies uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), environmental management systems and data centre solutions.

"Since our partnership first began in 2009, Logicom has played an integral role in helping grow the prominence of the APC by Schneider Electric brand. Now that we are part of a select group of distributors for the UAE for APC by Schneider Electric, we are even more dedicated towards managing the expectations of our resellers and their customers," he added.

Logicom has also appointed a dedicated in-house pre-sales engineer whose primary focus is to provide resellers with technical support for APC by Schneider Electric’s line of products. The engineer will also provide resellers with sales and support information.

Logicom plans to focus more on the UAE’s SME channel, reaching out to a base of end-user customers that are ineffectively protected against power fluctuations and would benefit greatly from the protective technology that APC by Schneider Electric provides.
