Computer peripherals and electronic devices vendor Icon7 has strengthened its channel in Hungary, striking a deal with Disztributor.hu. Icon7 claims that this latest channel agreement demonstrates its ongoing commitment to the fast-growing market in Central and Eastern Europe for computer peripherals. Disztributor.hu is one one of the leading players in the Hungarian IT market according to Icon7.

“We are very excited to be collaborating with Icon7 since we are impressed by Icon7’s innovative products,” said Ferenc Mátyás, business development director at Disztributor.hu.

László Dósa, country sales manager at Icon7, added: “With tremendous sales growth in Eastern Europe, Hungary is one of our key markets with an immense growth potential. We also hope to serve the urgent needs of our customers on a more personal level.”

“In Hungary, we will closely cooperate and support all marketing activities to achieve targets with the launching of our channel enhancement program with Disztributor.hu, who provides a complete channel network together with real-time support,” he added.

Disztributor.hu and Icon7 will focus on product training and market-specific actions to capitalise on the emerging opportunities across multiple market segments in Hungary. According to Disztributor.hu’s website, the company works with multiple A-brand vendors including HP, IBM, Microsoft and Cisco.
