Magirus expands online VMware training

VAD outfit Magirus has announced plans to make its VMware certified professional (VCP) courses available online across EMEA from this month onwards. The interactive web-based, instructor-led courses mirror traditional classroom training, including a hands-on technology lab.
“Remote learning tools represent a practical alternative for training people who are in remote locations or for businesses keen to reduce costs by saving on travel, hotel accommodation and subsistence,” said Andrew Binding, VP Northern Europe region at Magirus. “For a 5-day course these costs may amount to another 30% to 60% on top of the course.
“We train in excess of 5,000 students a year across Europe in VMware technologies and believe there is pent-up demand for this kind of web-based training,” he continued.
The VMware courses are designed give IT professionals the technical capabilities and real-world experience needed to install, manage, deploy and support VMware products.
