Fast-growing smart home appliance and personal care products brand Multifun, part of Shenzhen-based Storm Age Technology, is ready to expand its regional channels and will attend DISTREE Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) 2019, which takes place in Monaco from February 19th to 22nd. Hosted buyer channel event DISTREE EMEA helps brands from around the world open up new routes-to-market quickly and efficiently. Exhibitors hold pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with senior executives from top distributors, retailers, e-tailers and marketplaces from 50-plus countries in one place at one time.

Vivian Zhang, CEO at Multifun, said: “We want to use the opportunity of attending DISTREE EMEA to attract more distributors and retailers in EMEA markets. Multifun will use the event to increase its visibility and raise brand awareness with channel partners.”

Multifun will showcase a wide variety of products at DISTREE EMEA including its ‘Aroma Tower’ waterless diffuser, ‘Creative Bud’ aroma diffuser, ‘Guardian’ smart body composition scales and other innovative products. Zhang added: “We want distributors to be aware of our products, which are created with the aim of giving consumers a great experience and providing the best possible quality of life.”

The evolution of DISTREE EMEA to cover a wider range of product categories has accelerated in recent years. With more products becoming smart, and more channel partners looking to widen the number of categories they cover, DISTREE EMEA has evolved accordingly. Domestic appliances and lifestyle products are now an important part of the exhibitor base, building on the event’s traditional focus on consumer technology, consumer electronics and volume IT products.

Zhang added: “Our channel business has been more mature and stable in the past 12 months, and the business volume has increased rapidly. We have had a successful experience distributing Multifun in various markets including Japan and South-east Asia. Multifun is a young brand in European market. We are confident Multifun will become more and more popular and famous with our high quality products, good service, experience and sincere attitude.”

“There is enormous opportunity for growth for Multifun throughout EMEA. There are still countries where we do not have any significant presence, so the next step is to target EMEA and we welcome distributors from all territories to come and discuss opportunities with us,” Zhang added.

Multifun’s product portfolio is designed to promote healthier lifestyles and contribute to improvements in terms of overall quality of life. The company is committed to helping distributors and retailers maximise sales and provides a range of marketing support services.

Zhang explained: “Multifun will give strong support to channel partners. We are planning to cooperate with one partner as a sole distributor in each country, and we will support them to develop secondary distribution channels as well. So providing competitive margins for distributors is a must in terms of our strategy.”

“In terms of marketing we would like to know what the distributors want us to do for them. Basically we support by whatever makes sense and effective. A marketing strategy works best when it is done in collaboration with partners and is country-specific. We are not locked to specific promotions and activities, but are open towards all types of inputs and suggestions we receive,” continued Zhang.

DISTREE EMEA will be the launch pad for the introduction of the Multifun brand to markets across the entire region.
