DISTREE Russia’s return to Moscow in 2017 has driven increased interest from major technology brands and distributors for exhibition space at this year’s event. The country’s leading technology channel event will once again offer technology suppliers access to Russia leading retailers, e-tailers and resellers in one place at one time. DISTREE Russia will take place at Hotel Yahonty (www.yahonty.ru) in Moscow on the 21-23rd June 2017.

DISTREE Russia caters for technology brands at every stage of their channel development. Established brands with existing channels in Russia such as Acer, Dell, Kingston, Lenovo, Microsoft, Samsung, Schneider, Toshiba and WD among others, will all be represented at this year’s event.

Frederic Simard, Event Director for DISTREE Russia, said: “Exhibitors at DISTREE Russia can pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with senior executives from hundreds of the country’s top retailers, e-tailers and resellers. The event provides the ultimate business development platform for exhibitors looking to either manage, build or launch routes-to-market in Russia.”

Influential Russian tech distributors have already confirmed their participation as exhibitors at DISTREE Russia 2017. Distributors such as Marvel, Merlion, MICS and Staten among others, will use their participation to showcase their product and services portfolio and meet existing and prospective channel customers in one place at one time.

Simard added: “As an independent channel event, DISTREE Russia delivers a clear return on investment (ROI) for exhibitors. It helps vendors and distributors explore new business opportunities and hold face-to-face meetings with existing customers at a fraction of the cost of arranging their own event. Our format is based on efficiency for both channel delegates and exhibitors."

More than 300 pre-qualified channel partners are set to attend DISTREE Russia 2017, with the number of exhibitors also set to increase as more technology suppliers explore the potential for further growth and channel development within the Russian market.

“DISTREE Russia spans both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) channels,” added Simard. “The exhibitor mix is a powerful combination of major distributors, high profile vendors and international brands looking to enter the market, plus some fast-growing brands from within Russia itself.”

Russian gaming accessories vendor QCYBER is one Russian brand already confirmed to exhibit. CACTUS, a fast-growing Russian company that aims to set new standards for market-compatible printing consumables and accessories, is another example of a local Russian brand ready to take full advantage of this year’s DISTREE Russia.

Roman Samoylov, CEO at CACTUS, said: “We first participated in DISTREE Russia back in 2015 and the experience has been highly successful. The business forum format is a great opportunity for us to hold a series of meetings with current and potential partners in a short space of time.”

For international brands, DISTREE Russia is a quick and efficient platform for planning a market entry strategy. The event allows these brands to meet major channel partners, increase their understanding of both the channel landscape and market dynamics.

Simard concluded: “We look forward to confirming more exhibitors in the next two weeks. The Russian tech market has rebounded and offers opportunities for all brands to build and develop their in-country business. Simultaneously, we have seen an increased level of interest from resellers, retailers and e-tailers wishing to participate at this year’s event.”
