XTOUCH recognises Redington’s role

Consumer electronics brand XTOUCH has named Middle East and Africa distribution giant Redington as its best strategic partner of the year for 2016. XTOUCH recognised Redington for its outstanding contribution it has made towards the growth of XTOUCH brand in the region. Since 2013, the two companies have been working closely to build XTOUCH’s brand in the smartphone market and increase market share.
Jack Lee, president at XTOUCH, said: “We have been working hand in glove [with Redington] since the beginning. We are engaged with each other in developing products that are suitable to the requirements of consumers in the region. Our association goes beyond supply chain management to developing strategies for positioning our products, rationalising price points and even creating go-to-market campaigns that provide the most cost-effective products to the consumers in the market.”

Today, XTOUCH has carved out a niche for itself and is on a path to increase its market share and footprint across the region. Despite the tough competition in the market, we have managed to grow quarter-on-quarter and take 5% market share for the smartphone market in the UAE.”
