Next month’s DISTREE Brazil event provides a unique opportunity for technology brands to meet face-to-face with senior executives from the country’s most influential channel partners, retailers and e-tailers. One company looking to take full advantage of the business development opportunity is ESI Cases & Accessories, which will use DISTREE Brazil to introduce its portfolio to in-country channel partners.

Carlos Meneses, VP International Sales, ESI Cases & Accessories, said: “ESI Cases & Accessories’ main goal is to introduce our company and its brand portfolio to the Brazilian market place. Wewill be showcasing our line of Bluetooth headphones, earbuds as well as our leading mobile accessory line of products under the Duracell, Wireless Gear and Billboard brands. These are leading brands in the US market with extensive retail penetration. The Duracell brand is also well known and respected in the Brazilian market.”

DISTREE Brazil 2016 takes place on the 20-21st September at the Bourbon Hotel Atibaia, Sao Paulo. DISTREE Brazil was launched in 2011 in Sao Paulo. DISTREE has grown rapidly, establishing itself as an essential annual event for retail buyers covering consumer electronics, digital devices and ICT products. DISTREE regularly attracts more than 400-plus senior executives from the region’s consumer electronics, digital device and ICT products retail channel. These include the most influential buyers and decision makers responsible for product selection for the retailers they represent.

Meneses added: “Today we are seeing a dramatic shift in both audio headphones and speakers. The market is being driven by Bluetooth technology and with headphones for the first time, wireless Bluetooth technology sales exceed that of the corded area.”

“All channels of distribution have been successful for our line of audio and mobile accessory products, as they are ubiquitous and all are compatible with smartphones. Retailers who are currently - or are planning on - merchandising audio or mobile phone accessories represent the best channel opportunity for us,” he added.

The ESI portfolio of Duracell, Billboard and Wireless Gear brands have shown themselves to be proven winners in both the US Market as well as in Mexico and Central America. The main differentiator is a unique combination of brand, quality and performance all at an affordable retail price, according to the company.

“Our packaging is first rate, our brands are first rate and our execution with our retail partners is first rate,” said Meneses.

“Our margin proposition is one of the key components that separates ESI Cases & Accessories from our competitors,” he added. “Specifically, by pairing world class brands and superior packaging with a dynamic competitive cost to our retail partners, we offer superior margin.”

The Duracell brand is well-established in the Brazilian Market and ESI’s market intelligence indicates that the Duracell mobile accessory brand not only resonates with the consumers in Brazil, but also has the potential to capture strong market share.

Meneses continued: “ESI views itself not only as channel friendly, but retailer and distributor friendly. We are looking to partner with the major distribution leaders in the consumer electronics market for Brazil and work with them to penetrate the various retail channels. We are also open to working with retailers who wish to purchase from us.”

“ESI Cases & Accessories has been in business for well over 25 years and our brands Duracell, Billboard and Wireless Gear have over 150 years of retail presence throughout North America. Partners should know we respect their business and our relationship with them will be on a direct basis. Our team travels to meet with our partners in person and we have the personal touch and don’t just communicate via e-mail and Skype,” he concluded.
