Innov8 teams with DISTREE for ConnectDays Paris event

Innov8, a leading distributor of connected products and services in France, has teamed up with DISTREE Events to launch a unique two-day event in 2016 focused on connected products, smartphones, accessories and distribution 2.0 business models.

DISTREE ConnectDays will take place on 11-12th April 2016 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, giving 100-plus brands the opportunity to showcase their connected technology products and pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with France’s top channel partners, retailers, e-tailers, press and market influencers.

Innov8 launched the first ConnectDay in Paris in 2015. The event focused on the development of channels for connected products, smartphones and accessories. After its successful launch, Innov8 Group has decided to expand the event concept and partner with DISTREE Events - a leading organiser of channel events that allow consumer technology brands to identify distributor and retail partners around the world.

100-plus brands

Leveraging the knowhow and expertise of DISTREE Events, the new DISTREE ConnectDays event will offer a range of value-added benefits to exhibitors, focusing on both established and developing brands, plus a wide range of international and French start-ups.

Smart technology products, virtual reality solutions, drones and a wide range of connected products, smartphones and accessories will be showcased in the DISTREE ConnectDays exhibition area. With new product categories growing fast, new channel models are emerging to bring them to the market. DISTREE ConnectDays will also allow delegates to explore how new and changing routes-to-market are leading to the creation of distribution 2.0 business models.

More than 100 brands are set to exhibit at DISTREE ConnectDays 2016, where they will have the opportunity to interact with 600 senior executives and buyers from retailers and distributors. The mix of established brands and start-ups will offer opportunities for channel partners to meet both existing and potential new suppliers. The exhibition will include a FrenchTech Village, highlighting some of the brightest stars of the vibrant French start-up scene.

Multiple channels

Major retailers and e-tailers will all be invited to send delegations to the event. The channel delegate base will also include telecom operators, plus new emerging distribution channels for connected products such as concept stores, pharmacies, sports stores and specialists.

The two-day event format will provide a highly efficient business development platform for exhibitors, including pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with partners, plus the chance to interact with media, press and market influencers in one place at one time.

Innov8 Group has annual sales of approximately €360m (US$382m) and employs 340 staff through its business units and subsidiaries. Innov8 Group includes smartphone and connected products distributor Extenso Telecom; accessories specialist Ascendeo; connected products retailer Lick, plus premium accessories brand Unplug.
