Zyme adds Andrews to executive leadership team

by Stuart Wilson, Thursday 8 October 2015

Channel data management (CDM) outfit Zyme has announced that Nick Andrews has joined the company’s executive leadership team, following his promotion to general manager for EMEA & India. Andrews previously held positions at Gartner, IBM and most recently at Software AG where as a regional sales manager he successfully drove new business growth by over 120%. In his new role, Nick assumes immediate responsibility for all the pre-sales, sales and marketing functions, in addition to over-seeing the daily operations of the EMEA business.

CDM is an emerging business discipline in Europe, according to Zyme. By facilitating the flow of critical intelligence between manufacturers and their channel partners, CDM enables both parties to benefit from focusing sales efforts in the right areas, as dictated by statistics rather than guesswork.

“Zyme is a truly disruptive force in the market,” said Andrews. “In a world that now sees data as business critical it is no longer acceptable to offer an excuse for not having total insight of, and intelligence around, transactions in the channel. Companies who have already implemented a CDM solution have seen at least a 5% increase in annual sales growth on average. I believe the CDM sector is approaching its tipping point and we are ready to lead this shift in momentum.”

Commenting on this promotion Adam Brenner, senior VP of global sales at Zyme, added: “Nick, along with the rest of the EMEA team, has worked tirelessly to introduce Zyme to the EMEA and India markets, combining innovation and vision to educate on a more efficient and effective approach to manage the information traversing networks between manufacturers and their channel partners. I am delighted about this promotion and have every confidence that he will continue to take this company to new levels of success.”
