According to Siemon, RWL were chosen for the depth of their knowledge of the Irish market and proven success in the region. The RWL team has been supplying the electrical trade and data cabling installers for over 15 years and the company was founded in 2005.

Siemon’s EMEA managing director Keith Astin said: “We have grown our business in Ireland considerably due to the influence of American investment and global IT specifications of incoming businesses.”

“RWL are a valued addition to our European distribution network and we plan to work in close partnership with them to further target the largest organisations with high performance technical requirements. Our strength in the G500 market, added to our product and technical differentiators will be used to drive our sales and marketing efforts together,” Astin added.

As part of the distribution deal, RWL has introduced Siemon to a shortlist of installation companies. Following a selection process conducted by the manufacturer, three of these specialists firms have been appointed as certified installers (CI) and are able to offer 20-year warranties on Siemon cabling systems. The companies chosen will join Siemon’s installation network and cover the whole of Ireland. Those awarded CI status are CNI, KNI and ADI.

Robert Walsh, managing director of RWL Advanced Solutions, said: “We are very pleased to be working with Siemon to provide leading data solutions to the market in Ireland. We focus on the highest quality products and market-leading technology and Siemon’s high-end specification complements our existing business model. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work together to supply and support the major technology users and IT consultants via the specialist installation companies that serve them.”
