HP and Microsoft to deliver keynote speeches at DISTREE APAC

The second annual DISTREE APAC event gets underway in Singapore today, featuring keynote speeches from Platinum Sponsors HP and Microsoft, as well as a regional market update from Event Partner GfK. DISTREE APAC is a three-day channel event offering a unique opportunity for technology and consumer electronics (CE) vendors to meet face-to-face with senior executives from the region’s leading retailers, e-tailers and distributors.

The second annual DISTREE APAC event gets underway in Singapore today, featuring keynote speeches from Platinum Sponsors HP and Microsoft, as well as a regional market update from Event Partner GfK. DISTREE APAC is a three-day channel event offering a unique opportunity for technology and consumer electronics (CE) vendors to meet face-to-face with senior executives from the region’s leading retailers, e-tailers and distributors.

GfK will kick off this afternoon’s keynote session at 14:20 with a speech entitled ‘New Growth Opportunities in APAC’ delivered by Ines Haaga, Marketing Director IT at GfK Retail & Technology. GfK will illustrate the market trends that are relevant to vendors and distributors, as well as resellers and retailers.

Lionel Ch’ng, Consumer Sales Director Printing and Personal Systems, APJ, HP Asia Pacific, will then take the stage to deliver a keynote entitled, ‘Winning Over Our Shoppers at Retail’. Ch’ng’s speech will cover HP’s strategy in shopper research along with HP’s key roadmap for the region for both its print and PC portfolio. This will include new opportunities for close collaboration with HP partners based on shopper insights and product innovation.

Carlos Lopes, Consumer & Channels Group General Manager APAC at Microsoft, will close the plenary session with a speech entitled, ‘Enabling Transformation in the Connected World’.
