DISTREE Russia & CIS facilitates thousands of meetings between suppliers and channel partners

DISTREE Russia & CIS 2014 finishes today having successfully facilitated thousands of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings between delegates. Taking place for the eleventh time in 2014, DISTREE Russia & CIS is the leading regional channel platform for interaction between vendors, distributors, retailers and resellers working in the ICT and consumer electronics (CE) channel.

DISTREE Russia & CIS included the popular 60 Seconds to Convince Awards programme, giving dozens of brands the chance to deliver a one-minute elevator pitch for their latest products. An audience of channel partners voted live for their preferred pitch. The Cougar 700M gaming mouse emerged victorious in the Best Product Design category, while the Sony Action Cam AS100V picked up the Best Product Innovation award. The Best Overall Presentation award went to Fitbug and Mixberry for their Fitbug Orb pitch.

In total 600-plus executives attended this year’s DISTREE Russia & CIS. This included more than 130 senior retail buyers representing 100-plus retail chains operating in the region; senior executives from 100 top resellers, plus close to 250 representatives from vendors and distributors. More than 2,500 pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings took place between delegates.

DISTREE Russia & CIS 2014 included workshop sessions on the Internet of Things (IoT), wearables and Russian ICT & CE market trends. Keynote speeches included in-depth analysis of regional technology trends from GfK, plus Live@DISTREE channel-focused presentations from Dell, Digis and Energy Sistem.
