South Africa-based distributor Comztek has extended its distribution deal with Microsoft to include Zimbabwe. Comztek reckons that the extended deal underlines its competence in delivering software solutions across Africa. Comztek is a Microsoft gold partner and holds distribution rights for the vendor in a number of countries in Southern Africa.
With the addition of Zimbabwe to its distribution territory, Comztek now holds Microsoft rights in 15 countries. In addition to Zimbabwe, Comztek also holds rights in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Eritrea, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Namibia, Botswana, Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
“It is truly exciting that Comztek has been appointed as an authorised Microsoft distributor in Zimbabwe,” said Tiens Lange, rest of Africa business unit manager at Comztek.
“Our client-centric approach, complemented by executive brands such as Microsoft, puts us at the foreground of IT distribution in the market. Operating in 26 countries, with our head office in Midrand, Comztek has a solid African footprint and a great track record in innovative service delivery to our customers and, in turn, their customers,” Lange added.
