Mannai makes Microsoft LAR status

Microsoft has strengthened its channel-to-market in Qatar, naming Doha-based Mannai Corporation as a large account reseller (LAR). Achieving LAR status authorises Mannai to offer customers Microsoft ‘enterprise’ and ‘select’licesning agreements and technical support for all of the software giant’s products.

“Mannai was chosen to receive LAR status because of its consistent ability to deliver quality service and efficiently manage customer needs, especially for the larger accounts,” said Mamoun Bishtawi, partner account manager at Microsoft Qatar. “Mannai has a proven record of providing customer value through expert software deployment and support.”

Mannai claims that it is a leading provider IT services in Qatar covering the full spectrum of networks, systems and software. Mannai offers its customers a single source for integrated IT solutions based on a comprehensive portfolio of products and services. The company believes that Microsoft technology seamlessly fits into this concept.

“Mannai’s extensive association with Microsoft helps meet our goal of providing the right technology to our customers and helps us to implement solutions at a lower ownership cost,” said Moni George, senior manager information services at Mannai.

A Microsoft enterprise licensing agreement is a three year volume deal solution for large sized organisations for a core set of Microsoft technologies. Microsoft select is a volume licensing solution for medium to large businesses who receive value adds today based on their future purchases of Microsoft products.
