Log management solutions provider LogRhythm has appointed Ross Brewer as VP and managing director of its EMEA operation. Brewer’s CV includes stints at LogLogic, NetIQ and Symantec. LogRhythm has also established a European headquarters in the UK. Brewer will drive LogRhythm’s EMEA expansion, overseeing sales, administration and channel development.
“Ross brings to LogRhythm a very successful track record for building and managing international operations in the log management and security information management space,” said Andy Grolnick, president and CEO at LogRhythm. “He is a seasoned executive with a strong customer focus. We’re thrilled to have him join the LogRhythm team.”
Brewer joins LogRhythm from LogLogic, where he held the position of VP and managing director for EMEA. Prior to LogLogic, Brewer held senior management and sales positions in Europe for systems and security management vendor NetIQ and security vendor PentaSafe (acquired by NetIQ). While at global security leader Symantec, Brewer launched the company’s operations in New Zealand.
“Over the past three years, I’ve witnessed first hand the rapidly growing need for a single solution that combines enterprise-class log management with event management and analytics for compliance, security and IT operational applications. LogRhythm’s integrated solution has been very well received by customers due to its compelling blend of functionality and ease of use,” said Brewer. “The opportunity for LogRhythm in EMEA is significant.”
LogRhythm provides enterprise log management, log analysis and event management in an integrated solution that empowers organizations to comply with regulations such as the PCI DSS, secure their networks, and optimise IT operations.
