by Stuart Wilson, Thursday 10 October 2013
Distribution giant Ingram Micro has started offering a full suite of wireless device lifecycle services in Latin America through its Ingram Micro Mobility business. The expansion of mobility lifecycle services availability will reach more than 40 countries offering a full suite of end-to-end supply chain and customisation solutions to manufacturers, retailers, network operators, resellers and existing Ingram Micro customers.
Ingram Micro is one of the largest wholesale exporters in Miami, with a customer base of more than 20,000 VARs and retailers throughout Latin America, covering both business-to-business and business-to-consumer operations.
Anthony Mackle, acting president at Ingram Micro Mobility Latin America, said: "Ingram Micro Mobility delivers improved efficiencies, lowers costs and adds unique value to every link of the mobility supply chain.”
“With our mobility expertise and comprehensive Latin American IT distribution and sales channels, we are now providing customers with a whole new set of higher-value market opportunities. Since the Latin America market is expecting a double-digit increase in premium phone sales next year, the timing couldn’t be better," Mackle added.
