Al Hasoob handed Zotac rights in Saudi

by Stuart Wilson, Wednesday 22 April 2009

VGA and motherboard vendor Zotac has signed Al Hasoob as a distribution partner in Saudi Arabia. Under the terms of the deal Al Hasoob will promote and distribute Zotac’s products to resellers and IT dealers across the Kingdom.

“Saudi Arabia is a very important market for us. To keep up with the growing demand for our products in the country, we decided to appoint Al Hasoob as our distributor there,” said Mohammed Ibrahim, regional manager at Zotac International.

“Al Hasoob is a well known and trusted name and a reputed distributor of some of the best-known technology brands in Saudi. With its established reputation, market knowledge, reach and expertise, Al Hasoob is an ideal partner, who will help grow Zotac’s market share and reach in the Kingdom. We are looking forward to working closely with Al Hasoob and are confident that their customers will be extremely satisfied with our award-winning graphics cards solutions and motherboards,” he added

Zotac International, a part of PC Partner, is an Nvidia partner headquartered in Hong Kong with factories in China and regional sales offices in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.

Engineer Sherif Abdul Fattah, executive manager at Al Hasoob, said: “Al Hasoob is always on the look-out for the latest and best global products to bring to the Saudi market. We were approached by other graphics cards manufacturers for distributorship in Saudi. We, however, decided to go with Zotac as they have the best VGA cards and motherboard solutions."

"Zotac not only offers high performance and absolute reliability but great value too. This combined with its 5 year warranty, which no other graphics card manufacturer offers, makes it a winning deal for all our customers,” he added.

Apart from Zotac, Al Hasoob is a channel partner for a number of major vendors including HP, Acer, Dell, Intel and Western Digital. Al Hasoob plans to push Zotac kit through multiple channels in Saudi Arabia including resellers and retail outlets across the country.
