ATS picks up UK awards from Juniper

Juniper Networks has named Avnet Technology Solutions (ATS) as its 2008 UK distributor of the year. The accolade, in recognition of the VAD’s contribution to the channel, was awarded to ATS at networking vendor Juniper’s recent JUniversity. ATS’ marketing consultant Sue Elliott also picked up an award for marketing achievement from Juniper.

“We are delighted to receive these awards as they clearly underline the value that we bring to the channel. We work hard to engage in a structured way with both Juniper and its J-Partners in order to understand their needs and provide the appropriate skills and resources,” said Laura Harman, business unit director at ATS. “This endorsement from Juniper gives a powerful message to our partners that they are working with the right distribution partner.”

David Small, VP of EMEA channel at Juniper, added: “Avnet Technology Solutions has continued to support Juniper’s business throughout 2008 by investing in training, building marketing programmes and delivering first class operations. They have also shown their long term collaboration by expanding their Juniper high-performance network infrastructure portfolio into 2009.”
